A NOTE ON SOLVING THE LIKELIHOOD EQUATION IN LOGISTIC MODEL
WITH THE MULTINOMIAL DISTRIBUTION

In the paper the maximum likelihood equation of the logistic model with multinomial distribution is presented. Two iterative methods: the Fisher scoring method and the Newton-Raphson method are described. The Hessian matrix of likelihood function in logistic model with multinomial distribution is derived.
